The Eco-hydrology and Environmental Biotechnology  Laboratory (EEBL) serves both research and teaching functions. The laboratory is used by undergraduate and graduate students to determine environmental parameters affecting the fate and purity of water. Computer equipment is also available for data collection and data interpretation.

  • Thermal Gravimetric analyzer

  • In addition, we are outfitted with a full range of incubators, centrifuges, walk-in refrigerators/freezers and environmental chambers, as well as standard microbiological and wet chemical laboratory equipment
 
 

Additional equipment available in the adjacent UIC-Research Resource Center includes:

  • Microprobe wavlength dispersive spectrometery
  • NMR
  • LC/MS
  • Confocal Microscopy
  • Flow Cytometry Facility
  • Protein Research Facility
